Guided walks and special openings planned for 2012 start with a winter walk for ‘Friends of Stone Lane’ at 11am on 16 February with garden manager Paul Bartlett, £3.50 to include refreshments.  Please note this event is for ‘Friends’ only, but you can always sign up on the day! This year our famous ‘Mythic Garden Sculpture Exhibition celebrates its 20th year, and opens to the public on 6 May. The theme for this year’s Exhibition is ‘Birds’. Discover the real-life birds of Stone Lane Gardens in two guided walks led by the Royal Society for Protection of Birds (RSPB): on  22 April exclusively for ‘Friends’, and on 10 June open to all. Times and costs to follow.

We are delighted to be rejoining the National Gardens Scheme with two openings this year for the charity; the first on 13 May. NGS openings are always popular, especially as they include teas and plant sales. We will need lots of volunteers to help run the event and would be most grateful if you could spare a little time to help us.
