An interesting and unusual tree from North America. Attractive light brown bark with a silvery metallic sheen; slightly rough and peeling in thin tatters.
Very good yellow Autumn leaf colour. Prefers damp, but not waterlogged, soil.
Height: 9-15 metres, lightly spreading crown.
