A fine ornamental tree with superb bark, slender growth and light shade.  The glossy, smooth barks peel freely in sheets and scrolls; particularly effective when backlit by the low winter sun. A beautiful and much under-rated tree.

Height: 9-15 metres, lightly spreading crown.

‘Nepalese Orange’  has a rich orange bark, with very noticeable horizontal bands of lenticels and very soft blooming A very attractive and unusual utilis.

Not suitable for very frosty or exposed areas.
