A fine ornamental tree with superb bark, slender growth and light shade. The glossy, smooth barks peel freely in sheets and scrolls; particularly effective when backlit by the low winter sun. A beautiful and much under-rated tree.
A lovely dark brown bark, overlain with orange and red. Very little bloom.
