The Seed is Sown – Wildflower Meadows at Stone Lane Gardens

Last Friday, 17 September 2021, saw trustees and some of our team of Gardens volunteers out in the fields, known as June’s Meadow and Kenneth’s Meadow, sowing by hand on specially prepared land, seeds which will generate wildflower meadows for visitors to enjoy in years to come. We are grateful to the donors who provided seeds from the local area enabling us to create large areas of wildflowers which will in time compliment Devon’s beautiful natural landscape.
