Chagford Conservation Group shift a shed

Many thanks to the 13 members of the Chagford Conservation Group who turned out today to help Paul Bartlett, gardens manager, move “The Shed” from the tea garden to its new, more appropriate, location where it can be put to good use as a wood store. The shed was originally sited inside the entrance to the gardens, where June Ashburner’s two geese had their home, until it was moved to the tea garden. Despite its age, surprisingly the shed has remained intact throughout its travels, including today’s move via tractor, trailer and CCG  manpower.
