TEA ROOM RE-OPENS AT EASTER
We are delighted to announce that our Gardens Visitors’ Tea Room will re-open at Easter serving Devon Cream Teas and a Savoury Tea alternative.
This year, the tea room will open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday most weekends from 7 April until the end of September, between 12noon and 4.30pm. (Opening will depend upon the availability of our tea room volunteers – if you would like to help please get in touch).
On the menu will be Langage Clotted Cream Teas, Savoury Cheese Scone Teas and delicious ‘Flapjackery’ flapjacks. Drinks will include tea, coffee and Luscombe bottled drinks. Dartmoor Ice Cream in individual tubs will be available from our freezer.
Whenever possible we will use local suppliers, based in Tavistock, Chagford, Princetown, Ivybridge, Buckfastleigh and North Bovey.
Currently, our Tea Garden lawn is being re-turfed. The turf will take a bit of bedding in, so our apologies, but please don’t expect to enjoy an outdoor tea for a few weeks until the area is fully established. A new announcement will be made as soon as we are able to offer tea on the garden lawn once again.
Please note: In the Tea Room payment is by card only. No cash.
