Betula dahurica ‘Maurice Foster’ (Dahurian Birch tree)

Betula dahurica is a most unusual tree, with its shredded, tightly peeling bark. A real eye-catcher.
The outer bark is a pale creamy pink with darker reds and browns underneath. Good autumn colour.
