Betula medwediewii (Caucasian mountain shrub birch tree)

Betula medwediewii is a very rare and attractive  multi-stemmed shrub. Metallic silvery-yellow stems which stand out in winter. Glossy and handsome leaves with showy fat upright fruits/cones which stay on the branches for a long time. Autumn leaf colour is a rich yellow.
