Colour has always been a major element in my work – starting as a student of figurative painting at Guildford College of Art in the late 1950s and carrying through to current work in abstraction.

I especially enjoy combining the wonderful chromatic intensity of fused glass with the clear lines and strength of steel to create durable sculpture for outdoor spaces.

I moved to Devon in 2002 and have a studio near Totnes.
