Katie tells stories, her clients tell her about their lives and she translates that into the clay and carves it into the clay sections to produce a totem pole. The pieces here represent regeneration as a family, her, the mother, and her two children.

About Katie
Katie Netley majored in ceramics and graduated in 2011. She has a BA (Hons) in wood, metal, ceramics and plastics (material practice) from Brighton University. Katie has been making sculpture ever since, mainly in clay carving, and is very fond of the use of colour.
