The annual sculpture exhibition runs from 1st June to 21st Oct: this year’s exciting exhibition, with Ashburner prize, showcases the work of SW artists, on the theme of ‘Regeneration’.
We are currently operating a simplified admission charge of just £5 for adults and £2.50 for children aged 11-18 yrs, with under 11 yrs Free (as part of a family group). You can pay using your phone at the un-manned Visitor Reception, by cash (no change given) or you can buy an admission ticket in advance by following this link buy tickets online
We are open seven days a week all year round, including Christmas Day. Opening times are 10am till 6pm or dusk in winter.
The Tea Room for Garden Visitors is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (plus Bank Holiday Mondays) from 12 noon until 5pm (unless the weather is v bad). The Tea Room is staffed by our fantastic volunteers and open as often as we have teams available. We aim to increase the tearoom opening in the weeks ahead so please check for updates.
NB This week in addition to the weekend, we also hope to open on Mon, Tues & Thurs.
We now have teams to open at weekends (plus some extra weekdays when we can) but the tea room is at the heart of the garden and we would love to open everyday. Maybe you can help? If you live locally and can volunteer in the tea room (once a week, fortnight or even per month) you will be very welcome !
