Gardens open five days a week

The Gardens are now open to the public on five days of the week, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, all year round from 10am till 6pm or sundown in winter.

On the two days of the week when the Gardens are closed to the public, Tuesday and Wednesday, a certain amount of sometimes noisy work, such as grass cutting or rotavating, goes on throughout the busy estate.

For the rest of the week our aim is to preserve the tranquility of this peaceful place for which it is so renowned. Our gardeners will continue their daily duties, but with the Gardens serenity much in mind.
