Felt workshop at Stone Lane Gardens

The very talented Amelia Speyer is sharing her felting skills in the Stone Lane Gardens Tearoom on the 28th of March.

During the workshop participants will make a birch leaf shaped coaster and a felted vessel resembling the unique properties of birch bark.

As well as learning about wet felting techniques, participants will learn how to use pre-felts and explore different ways to embellish felt to add definition, texture and sheen. Once learnt, these techniques can be used in lots of different ways to create other objects of different shapes and sizes.

When: Saturday 28th of March from 10.30 – 4.00 pm
Price £75 per person, including hot drinks and free entry to the garden. Please bring your own lunch.
