Sculpture Exhibition 2023 Catalogue
The 2023 sculpture exhibition has now closed.
The garden itself remains open for visitors all winter with a handful of permanent sculptures on display.
The theme for the 2023 exhibition was “A sense of place”. It was opened, by judge Neil Musson, on 31st May, along with the announcement of the Ashburner Prize winner: David Newman for Undefined Forms.
Our gratitude and thanks to the 2023 selectors: The prize winner was chosen by a panel of three; Neil Musson, a renowned international artist; Professor Paul Fieldsend-Danks, Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive Arts University Plymouth; David Savage, Stone Lane Garden Trustee.
Our Summer Sculpture Exhibition celebrates emerging artists who are based in or connected to the South West of England, and the 2023 Ashburner Prize was generously funded by CARADON GRANITE.
