Alistair Lambert

Alistair Lambert born was born in 1965. He studied sculpture at Chelsea School of Art and the Royal College of Art.

His work explores our relationship with the sublime and beautiful through constructed space, the idea of habitat and our changing concept of ‘nature’. Through patterns of materials he creates variations in systems and plays with a fixation on order and change.

Various public commissions have led Alistair to developed a parallel sculpture practice of dynamic workshops engaging groups of people to generate temporary sculptures for public and private locations.

Alistair moved to Devon from London in 2021 and now has a studio near Exeter overlooking the River Clyst.
