Moorstones with indents pecked into them, offering a resting place to ceramic bowls, referencing the cup stones found on Dartmoor. Cup stones have been used for offerings, pleas or thanks. Their origins are widely speculated upon. Bowls in many forms are also vehicles for offerings.

Kate was awarded a BA Hons in Ceramics at Plymouth College of Art in the summer of 2016 and an MA at Bath School of Art 2020. She has been exhibiting locally. She lives, works and teaches at Holwell, on Dartmoor.
