Trustee roles at Stone Lane Gardens

Stone Lane Gardens would not exist without our volunteer Trustees.

The role is a rotating one, as Trustees can only serve for a maximum of 6 years. We are always seeking new volunteers to join our friendly group to help conserve and direct this unique charity.

Opportunities

Useful skills include horticulture, people management (looking after our staff & volunteers, charity administration (keeping things organised and running smoothly), finance, fund-raising, marketing, education and the arts.

As this is a small charity, we are seeking local ‘hands-on’ trustees.

You may be new to this role or bring significant experience from another organisation or charity. Either way, we know this commitment will require serious consideration and we aim to make that exploration as enjoyable as possible.

Trustee meetings are held 4-6 times per year, some on site and some on-line. Decisions between meetings are made by email.
