Other ways to pay: When the tea room is open please pay there – card only, no cash please. When the tea room is closed please pay at our unmanned Visitor Information point. You can pay there by cash or card.

RHS Card holders: If you present a current annual RHS Membership card, member ONE goes free. This offer applies on Fridays all year and every day during the months of February and October only. Our normal entry fee applies to all other visitors. If you are an RHS Staff member, on production of your staff card entry is free for one person. Our normal entry fee applies to all other visitors. This offer applies on Fridays all year and every day during the months of February and October only.

BBC Gardeners World: If you present a BBC Gardeners World magazine card we offer 2 for 1 entry. Our normal entry fees apply to all other visitors at all times.

Tea Room and Tea Garden: Self-service on Fridays only during the winter

During the winter our volunteers have kindly arranged a self-service facility for our visitors in the tea room. This operates on Fridays only. Hot drinks and snacks are available, plus the chance to shelter if the weather is inclement. Payment by contactless card or cash.

During the summer our seasonal tea room and tea garden is open every day from 11am till 4pm Thursday to Monday inclusive until end of September. Card only payment please.

Dogs: DOGS ON LEADS PLEASE. Dogs are very welcome at Stone Lane Gardens, and you may meet our Garden Manager’s dog Rosie during your visit. Please keep yours on a lead to avoid harm to ground-nesting birds, livestock and other garden visitors. Thank you. Pssst. treats available in the tea room!!
