We are offering a small number of the endangered Megrelian birch, grown from seed collected high in the Caucasus mountains by our Garden Manager.
An attractive shrubby tree, ideal for small gardens or a corner somewhere. Sales of this birch go directly to supporting our ex-situ conservation collection.

Your tree will be a 7 year old plant about 2 foot high.
Betula megrelica is a very rare and attractive multi-stemmed shrub. Metallic silvery-yellow stems which stand out in winter. Glossy and handsome leaves with showy fat upright fruits which stay on the branches for a long time. Autumn leaf colour is a rich yellow.
