Description
Betula utilis ‘Mt Luoji’ is a lovely Chinese birch much admired for its outstanding smooth, dark chocolate bark with a hint of red. A very rich bark colouring.
The glossy, smooth barks peel freely in sheets and scrolls; particularly effective when backlit by the low winter sun. A beautiful and much under-rated tree.
